Encaustic Art for Beginners:  Discover the fascinating medium of Encaustic wax art in this workshop for beginners – no artistic experience necessary! Create gorgeous, vibrant pictures in no time at all using coloured beeswax and a small electric iron. Elaine will take you through the four basic steps required before moving on to some more advanced techniques during the afternoon. We will experiment with different surfaces and will also be working on larger paintings. There will be a small hotplate and a heat gun available to enable you to try out different effects. A fun day to allow your creativity to come out and play! The workshop will be limited to just 8 people to ensure individual attention.
